Dr Manavita Mahajan has been a practising Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Gurgaon for over 30 years and is widely respected by her patients and the medical fraternity for her clinical excellence, ethics and warmth. She previously served as Director at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon, and remains a senior consultant there today.
Special interests
Dr Mahajan is an avid proponent of Safe Motherhood practices and is renowned for her laparoscopic (minimal access) surgical skills. Her areas of expertise include the assessment and management of high-risk pregnancy, and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery for ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, fibroid uterus, endometriosis and laparoscopic hysterectomy.
She is an active trainer and faculty in the educational programmes and CME initiatives of AICC RCOG NZ India and the Obstetrics & Gynaecology associations of Delhi and Gurgaon, and has been a speaker at many national conferences on gynaecological laparoscopy.
